Slaves didn’t build the country, because most if not all of them were working fields and farms and similar things. Mostly white people built, because they didn’t think blacks were smart enough. If they did build, it would have been in the South and then probably destroyed in the civil war. Therefore, slaves did not build this country. Not even metaphorically.
You hear that sound? It’s the sound of your history teacher lighting himself on fire. You’re an embarrassment to books and literacy.
White privilege is the assumption that “building this country” was an ineffably good thing to do.
